Did I see a real Geisha?

If it was around midnight I would say the chances are high she was real. It's kind of tough to say without a picture, though. Keep in mind that older geisha don't always wear the wig or the full white makeup that younger geisha and maiko wear. Given the time of night, though, I can pretty much guarantee that you DIDN'T see a dressed-up tourist.
