OK here is a tough one...an old anime/manga?

I remember watching this as a child, and I ume that it was made in the late 80's maybe early 90's...its 4 or 5 women in a spaceship traveling around...I cant remember much, but one of them was a robot and saved all in the end...There was a blonde one who was fighting in a small "space jet" and when it was damaged a protective suit was put on her automatically and one of them gave birth to a baby who grew into an adult in some minutes...she was sucked into a giant slime thing that entered their spaceship...anyone have a clue? I would really appreciate any help!!
