Trying to find the right dog for me.?

first of all if you don't have a lot of time, dont' get a puppy. a puppy left alone will develop bad habits plus you won't be able to meet their needs. i would recommend adopting an adult dog from a shelter. adults have an established temperment, are potty trained, and usually crate trained..plus they bond very quickly when they come from a shelter especially. if you aren't sure, go volunteer at a shelter one day and take some dogs for a walk, you can really see their personality, plus you're saving a life rather than putting money into breeders who end up dumping dogs they can't sell into shelters
